The Projects for Peace Summer Grants program is an initiative for students affiliated with Davis United World College Scholars Program partner schools, International House Association members, and International Houses worldwide. This initiative challenges students to design their own grassroots projects – anywhere in the world – which promote peace and address the root causes of conflict among parties.
Applicants are encouraged to use their creativity to design projects and employ innovative techniques that engage project participants in ways that focus on conflict resolution, reconciliation, building understanding, breaking down barriers, and finding solutions to resolve conflict and maintain peace. Through a competition open to over 90 campuses, International House Association members, and International Houses worldwide, projects are selected for funding of up to $10,000 each.
