Attendees from Discover UChicago 2017

Join us for a series of graduate admissions workshops, conversations with world-renowned faculty, social events with current graduate students, and workshops with admissions staff and administrators who support the diverse needs of graduate students. Receive advice on submitting a competitive application to graduate programs, navigating graduate school, and how to develop your own career as a scientist, academic, or professional.

Discover UChicago is open to prospective graduate students of all backgrounds, and presents an opportunity for participants to connect with current students, engage with faculty, and attend workshops with admissions staff and administrators. Programming includes information about the support offered at UChicago for individuals from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in U.S. graduate programs and first-generation and low-income graduate students. We will arrange domestic travel (within the US and its territories) to campus as well as two nights’ lodging in Hyde Park for participants.
