Join UChicagoGRAD’s Ten Hundred Word Challenge! Write your research abstract using only the 1,000 most common English words and test your ability to write jargon-free! Share your work at our live event and compete for prizes based on audience votes!

Paint Your Thesis/Dissertation (5:00–7:00 p.m., UChicagoGRAD HQ)
Think outside the word processor with an activity that combines all you know about your research topic with colorful paints! Come and let off some steam with a paintbrush in hand and a pastry in the other! Dinner and art supplies will be provided. Pre-registration is preferred to ensure enough supplies for everyone.
