The France Chicago Center supports one advanced UChicago graduate and professional school student in disciplines taught at Sciences Po in Paris. Applicants must need to conduct doctoral research at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) for a period of 6 to 9 months. Exchange fellows also have the opportunity to propose teaching a course based on his/her research, taught in English, to be given at Sciences Po during fellowship tenure.

The France Chicago Center awards one (1) Sciences Po Exchange Fellowship per year.

Award Amount

Airfare (up to $1500), a stipend paid in euros equivalent to $12,000 for 2 or 3 academic quarters. and an opportunity to teach a course in English based on PhD research.

Eligibility

Open to PhD candidates with a research project in an academic discipline represented at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). Students must retain their student status at the University for at least one quarter after their return.
