The Renaissance Society of America awards a number of competitive fellowships to members each year supporting individual research projects and publications that advance scholarly knowledge about the period 1300–1700. The research can be conducted in any country.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have been an RSA member for at least 12 months immediately prior to application, in order to be eligible.
- Members can live or work in any country.
Awards
- RSA Research Fellowships
- The RSA will award up to ten Paul Oskar Kristeller Fellowships in amounts of $2,000. All non-Art Historian applicants will be considered for the Paul Oskar Kristeller Fellowships.
- Samuel H. Kress Fellowships in Art History
- The RSA will award up to ten RSA-Kress short-term research fellowships of $3,000 each.
