The goal of the Porter Physiology Development Program is to encourage diversity among students pursuing full-time studies toward the Ph.D. in the physiological sciences and to encourage their participation in the American Physiological Society.
Eligibility
- The graduate student must be a member of APS in good standing at the time of application
- The applicant’s advisor/PI must also be a member of APS in good standing at the time of application
- The program is open to graduate students from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, as defined by the National Institutes of Health
- Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its territories
The fellowships offer $28,300/year for 1-2 years.
