Housed at Emory University in Atlanta, the James Weldon Johnson Institute for the Study of Race and Difference supports scholarship and public engagement that examine race and intersecting dimensions of human difference including but not limited to class, gender, religion, and sexuality.
Dissertation Completion Fellowship
The Visiting Fellows Program provides two completion fellowships for Ph.D. candidates in their final year of graduate school. All Visiting Fellows will be in residence at Emory’s Johnson Institute for the academic year.
