The Institute of Historical Research (IHR) was founded in 1921 and is one of nine institutes that comprise the University of London’s School of Advanced Study. The IHR is dedicated to training the next generation of historians, and to producing and facilitating ambitious, innovative historical research.
Doctoral Fellowship in Black British History
IHR is delighted to announce a new Doctoral Fellowship in Black British History for students in the writing up period of the graduate studies.  The award has made possible by a generous donation in honor of Professor Justin Champion (1960-2020), who was professor of history at Royal Holloway, University of London.
The duration of the doctoral fellowship is six months.
