Loeb Classical Library Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Trustees of the Loeb Classical Library Foundation have announced the another round of funding of three two-year postdoctoral fellowships to be held in the academic years 2025–2027. 

Eligibility

Doctoral dissertation in the US or abroad in any area of classical studies, completed in the academic years 2023/24 or 2024/25.

Stipend

$65,000 per year plus reimbursements for health benefits (up to $5000 per annum) if needed, and for modest moving expenses (to $1500) where needed to take advantage of a Visiting Scholar status (on which see further below); $2000 research fund per annum. The annual fellowship amount may be increased at the sole distrcretion of the Loeb trustees to meet the host University’s minimum postdoctoral salary.
