Each year The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality awards two grants to student members who are doing human sexuality research. The purpose of the research can be a master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation, but this is not a requirement.

The Graduate Student grant recipient receives up to $1,500 for research – awarded during the application year (cannot be used for conference travel).

Applicants must be

  • Enrolled in a degree-granting program
  • A current SSSS Student Member before applying for the grant and must remain a member the following year (in which they present their work at the Annual Conference).
