The McDonnell International Scholars Academy (McDonnell Academy) is a prestigious graduate fellowship program offering exceptional leadership training for WashU (St. Louis, MO) graduate students.
Applying to the McDonnell Academy is a separate process from applying to a graduate program. You must first submit an application to a WashU degree program to be eligible for the McDonnell Academy fellowship.

Eligibility
- You have earned or plan to earn a bachelor’s degree before July of the year you intend to begin your graduate study at WashU.
- You have already submitted an application or have been accepted to a WashU doctoral or master’s degree program. (See eligible WashU programs)
