The Flagship Scholarship is for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally students earning a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree.

Point considers many factors when assessing scholarship applicants, including leadership and community involvement, academic achievement, LGBTQ advocacy, and financial need.

Flagship Scholarship recipients receive financial support, access to multiple leadership development programs, mentorship or coaching, and the support of a community of scholars and alumni. Awarded Scholars will receive a maximum of four years of support.

Eligibility

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
  • Full-time enrollment in a a degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate, or professional program at an accredited, not-for-profit college or university in the United States.
  • Connection and commitment to the LGBTQ+ and ally community.
  • If previously awarded a Point Scholarship, applicants must have exited their former program with active status.
  • Must be at least a senior in high school.

 

Eligibility

Students must be enrolled or intend to enroll in a degree-granting undergraduate or graduate/ doctoral program. Post-doctoral research programs are not eligible.
