The Chicago Center on Democracy’s Graduate Student Affiliates network is an interdisciplinary group of graduate students at the Masters and PhD levels at the University of Chicago who share research interests in topics related to democracy. Chicago Center on Democracy will convene gatherings of the group roughly once per quarter, so the members have the chance to discuss and refine ideas on relevant topics. In addition, the Center will provide modest financial support for Graduate Student Affiliates who wish to organize lectures or other events related to democracy.
Eligibility
Please note that this network is only for current graduate students (masters or doctoral) at the University of Chicago. Students may be from any discipline, but we ask that only students whose academic focus or research is on a topic related to democracy apply, rather than those who just have a personal interest in democracy.
