Citadel is one of the world’s leading alternative investment managers.The GQS PhD Fellowship will propel the research of PhD candidates who share their hands-on approach to solving problems that matter. Three Fellowships will be awarded: one in mathematics/statistics, one in physics, and one in computer science/electrical engineering.
Fellows will be eligible to receive a grant of up to $100,000 to cover tuition, fees and stipend for the academic year. PhD fellowships may require university-specific payment arrangements. Recipients will also be matched with a GQS Research Mentor and will be eligible for GQS career opportunities.
Applicants must:
- Be a full-time student pursuing a PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, electrical engineering or computer science, enrolled at an accredited U.S. university.
- Complete the application form that best aligns with your research focus and upload a current CV by March 2nd.
- If selected as a finalist, present to the fellowship decision panel in Chicago in early to mid-April.
