The Eccles Centre is delighted to welcome applicants for the Eccles Visiting Fellowships, offering a unique opportunity to explore collections related to North America, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Recipients will receive £1,000 to £3,000 to support two to three weeks of research at the British Library.
Eligibility
Academics, independent researchers, creative practitioners, journalists, educators, and scientists worldwide are invited to apply. Whether you’re crafting a doctoral thesis, academic article, artistic endeavour, policy paper, or any groundbreaking work, your application is encouraged.
Funding
The current stipends levels are:Â
- The UK (Within the M25): £1,000 Â
- The UK (Beyond the M25): £2,000 Â
- Europe (incl. Eire)*: £2,500 Â
- Rest of World: £3,000Â
