The Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation invites doctoral students to apply to the Urban Doctoral Fellows program for 2024-2025. The Urban Doctoral Fellows program offers a yearlong writing and professionalization experience for up to ten University of Chicago doctoral students whose research focuses on urban issues. Students may come from any department or School at the University of Chicago; they may also be in any year of their PhD.
This award provides up to $1000 in financial reimbursement for travel costs associated with presenting a paper developed through the program at a national conference. To be eligible for the program and the travel stipend, students must attend all meetings of the Fellows.
