The Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Talent Initiative is a selective opportunity for recent graduates in cybersecurity or artificial intelligence-related fields to gain access to vital public sector work experience, build leadership skills, and build a cross-sector network of technology professionals.  

Fellows selected for the program will be placed at a federal agency with cybersecurity needs for two years. During this time, they will receive opportunities to network with program partners and alumni and learn with other early-career technologists in government.

Eligibility

  • U.S. citizenship at the time of application submission
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution in an undergraduate or graduate cybersecurity-related degree program or a recent graduate with a graduation date no more than two years before the start of the position.
  • Superior academic achievement
  • Completion of a cyber or technology-related major degree (including but not limited to: computer science, artificial intelligence, engineering, information security, data science, machine learning, robotics, or mathematics)
