Graduate Student Orientation 2025: Monday, September 22
Save the date! Join new students from across UChicago’s 12 graduate schools and divisions to mark the beginning of the new academic year. Incoming students are invited to join their classmates for a processional to the Welcome Convocation, featuring distinguished faculty speakers and a welcome from Graduate Council and UChicagoGRAD. In the afternoon, browse the Resource Fair to collect swag and learn about relevant campus offices. Due to the size of the event, it is open only to the individual incoming student; guests will be welcomed at other activities.
Schedule:
Welcome Convocation, 10:00–11:00 a.m., Rockefeller Memorial Chapel (register)
Informational Sessions, 1:30–4:30 p.m., Max Palevsky Cinema, Ida Noyes Hall (more information and registration coming soon!)
Resource Fair, 2:00–4:00 p.m., Ida Noyes Hall (register)
