The North American Society for Sport History (NASSH) promotes, stimulates, and encourages the study of the history of sports and athletics. It invites submissions for its NASSH Graduate Research Award.

The winner of the doctoral student grant can receive up to $2000. If inter-continental travel is required (North America to South America, for example), up to $2350 might be awarded, at the discretion of the Committee. The winner of the master’s student grant can receive up to $1000.

For applicants who plan to travel between continents (e.g. Europe to North America) the award amount is increased to a maximum of $3500USD.

It is expected that, upon completion, this research will be presented at a NASSH Annual Convention.
