Tax Information Session: Residents for Tax Purposes is intended for graduate students who are US citizens, permanent residents, and international students who now hold this tax-residency status. Topics include: basic tax filing preparation for the 2025 tax year, reviewing taxable and non-taxable income, understanding common deductions, reporting stipend income, filing federal tax returns, and where to go for additional assistance.

Non-Residents for Tax Purposes
Tax Information Session: Non-Residents for Tax Purposes is intended for graduate students who are international students were considered non-residents for tax purposes for the entirety of the 2024 tax year, who now hold this tax-residency status. Topics include: determining tax residency status, basic tax filing preparation for the 2024 tax year, reviewing taxable and non-taxable income, explanation of tax forms, reporting stipend income, filing returns via Sprintax, and where to go for additional assistance.
